Step 2
Write a ready message if you like, for example the product name or a greeting.
Step 3
Copy the link, test it, and download the QR code.
Step 4
Paste the link in your Facebook or Instagram bio, a Google Business Profile, an SMS, or print the QR on a menu, shop sign or visiting card.
About this tool
A WhatsApp click-to-chat link looks like wa.me/923001234567. When someone taps it on a phone, WhatsApp opens a chat with that number. If you add a message, it is already typed in the box, so your customer only has to press send.
The link and the QR code are made in your browser from the number and message you type. Nothing is sent to our server, and the link keeps working for as long as the WhatsApp number does. It does not need WhatsApp Business, but works with both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
Questions
Do I type the number with a zero?
No. Choose the country, then type the number without the leading zero and without a plus sign. For Pakistan, 0300 1234567 becomes 300 1234567 with +92 chosen.
Does the link expire?
No. It works as long as the number is active on WhatsApp.
Can I change the ready message later?
Make a new link with the new message. A link that is already printed or shared keeps the old message.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The same link opens a chat with a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number.
Is my number stored?
No. Everything happens in your browser. The number is only inside the link you copy.
