About this tool
A clear invoice helps you get paid faster. This generator produces a one-page layout with your details, the client, an invoice number and dates, an item table, subtotal, tax, total and a notes area for bank or payment details.
Totals are worked out for you from the quantities and prices, with tax added on top at the rate you enter. It works for freelancers and small businesses in any country; set the tax name to VAT, GST or sales tax as needed. The PDF uses standard Latin characters.
Your invoice details are used only to draw the PDF in your browser and are not stored or sent anywhere, so nothing is saved when you close the page. Keep a copy of every invoice you issue. For repeat billing, stock, ledgers and tax reports, a complete accounting system is the next step.
Questions
Is the invoice generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of invoices.
Is my information saved?
No. Everything is processed in your browser and disappears when you close the page. Keep the PDF you download.
Can I add VAT, GST or sales tax?
Yes. Enter the tax name and the rate in percent. The tax is added to the subtotal.
Can I use non-English letters?
The PDF uses standard Latin letters. Other scripts, such as Urdu, are shown as question marks.
Does it replace accounting software?
It makes single invoices. For customer ledgers, stock and reports you need accounting software such as FRS.
