About this tool
Forms and eligibility rules often ask for your exact age on a given date, such as the closing date of an application. Counting months and days by hand is easy to get wrong because months have different lengths.
The calculator subtracts the dates the way people count age: whole years first, then whole months, then the remaining days. It also shows totals in months, weeks, days and hours, and the day of the week you were born.
You can change the second date to find the age at a past or future date, for example on the last date of a job advertisement. The dates are processed in your browser and are not stored.

What about a 29 February birthday?
In years without a 29 February, the next birthday is shown on 1 March.
